Ah! Here’s the trailer for Adam’s upcoming film, “Cop Out.” Unfortunately, Adam isn’t in it too much (just a quick shot). I’ll add a cap of that soon, in the mean time, check out the trailer!
Cop Out hits theaters on February 26, 2010 and tells the story of two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, and Paul (Morgan) is his “partner-against-crime” whose preoccupation with his wife’s alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball. Seann William Scott, Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Ana de la Reguera, Jason Lee and Michelle Trachtenberg also star.

We can all thank this California cutie for popularizing the now ubiquitous “nerd chic” trend. As the dorky cool Seth Cohen on The O.C. from 2003 to 2007, Adam rocked skinny ties, sarcasm, and The Bait Shop. Adam and his costar Rachel Bilson dated onscreen and off, way before Dan and Serena did the same on a certain other Josh Schwartz show. Never before (or after) has anyone made geeking out about comic books and indie bands more attractive!
