Finally some good news comes out of the woodwork for Adam’s rumoured new film!

It seems all systems are go for George Miller’s superhero epic Justice League, despite earlier reports the options on the cast had lapsed amid doubts about the film’s financing. Warner Bros. is pushing ahead with plans to make Justice League in time for a 2009 debut and Miller has started pre-production in Australia, according to Variety.

The production was put on hold in January, reportedly because the script needed further revision, which wasn’t possible while the scribes were on strike.

Writers Kieran and Michele Mulroney are doing a polish, which is expected to be finished in several weeks, Variety reports.

If Warners has pressed the green light, that may mean there is no longer an issue about whether Justice League will qualify for the Australian government’s tax offset, which in turn had raised suggestions that the production may be lost to Canada.

The cast is headed by Adam Brody as the Flash, with rapper Common as Green Lantern, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman and Armie Hammer Jr as Batman.

Fox has provided ShockTillYouDrop.com with the new one-sheet for Jennifer’s Body, written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama. In the film, a gorgeous cheerleader (Megan Fox) is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town. Her “plain Jane” best friend must stop her and go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.

Globeandmail.com posted a great article about Adam’s latest movie, Jennifer’s Body. I won’t post the whole thing at the site, however I will post this little snippet mentioning Adam and his character.

As in Juno, Jennifer’s Body is set in Minnesota, where Cody lived when she wrote both films. This time, the setting is the fictitious town of Devil’s Kettle, described by the filmmakers as being about 90 minutes north of the suburban area where Juno was set. The film co-stars Adam Brody (The O.C.) as the lead singer of a rock band that plays the local bar – and who participates in some nasty business of his own.

The pivotal bar scene featuring Brody’s performance was the final thing to be tackled in the shooting schedule. It has Brody – in heavy eyeliner – singing lyrics written by Cody and meant to be as lame as possible.

And Happy 4th of July to all American vistors!

It’s been more than 18 months since Adam Brody and fellow “O.C” starlet Rachel Bilson broke off their relationship, but it seems he’s finally ready to find love again — or at least have a fling.

Brody attended a lavish birthday bash for talent agent Eric Podwall at the Motley Bird Nest on Saturday night, partying alongside the likes of Rumer Willis, Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado. However we’re told that he was drawn to one super-hot blonde in particular, and the two were caught canoodling before leaving together in the early hours.
