First, I would like to thank everyone for the nice and awesome feedback on the layout and the comments about the site in general! As promised, here’s the new look to the site! Huge thanks to Natalie at Elements-Inc.Net for the amazing design! I finally switched the site over to wordpress so commenting will be easier now, I added a shoutbox to the sidebar just in case any of you Adam fans would like to chat with one another.

The site got a new makeover simply because today is Adam Brody Online’s birthday! The site has been online for 2 years now and I would like to thank EVERYONE who has stopped by at some point during Adam Brody Online’s birth! The main site wasn’t the only place that got a new look, so did the gallery (created by me) and video center (created by Issue-Inc.Net)! Previews are below.

And talk about great timing, I have added some new candids of Adam to the gallery and a few addons to him being on the set of Jennifer’s Body. I also added captures from the first two episodes of The O.C.’s third season. I’ll be trying to get the second and third seasons finished.

Adam Brody’s News Flash
May 13, 2008 – Adam Brody, costar of the upcoming horror film Jennifer’s Body, told IGN that he went through a extended preproduction process on Justice League before the film was eventually shelved. “It was an interesting process,” Brody said during an interview for his new film, which costars Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. “It was such a fun time, and I went to Australia for a month and that was great.”

Brody, who previously appeared on the television series The O.C., signed on to Justice League to play The Flash for director George Miller (Happy Feet). He admitted that he didn’t even know the status of the project, but said that the production was surprisingly unrestrained in terms of revealing – or at least not hiding – details about the characters and script.

“I don’t know what’s going on with it. Do you?” he joked. “That was an interesting process, and I was always ? I always felt so excited, like ‘I got the part! Now they’re going to take me to the secret bunker in Warner Brothers and debrief us, so nobody can talk about [anything]. It’s going to be so official.’ But it sort of wasn’t, and it didn’t feel official, like stuff leaked out, and we’re doing stuff like this but we’re not supposed to talk about what’s going on.”

Adam Brody Talks Justice League
Superhero Hype! brother site ShockTillYouDrop.com visited the Vancouver set of Megan Fox horror pic Jennifer’s Body and got some quotes from Adam Brody about the Justice League movie.

“I probably shouldn’t be commenting on this, but who cares?” he said when asked about what happened to the Warner Bros. project that has George Miller attached to direct. ” I don’t totally know, I know there was a tax credit thing and I know that the initial writers strike was a hindrance. I know they’ve got Batman coming out and Singer wants another Superman – this is only speculation on my part, no inside knowledge on this – but as a fan I can understand how there’s controversy whether to try and build those, or building the franchise together. I think between the tax credit and I think… I think maybe it’ll still happen. I truly don’t know any more than you guys do.

Cronenberg in Talks for Timecrimes Remake

Original Timecrimes director Nacho Vigalondo spoke recently to Blogdecine about his sharp lil’ time travel thriller and the American remake currently in the pipeline with Timothy Sexton scripting.

During his chat, the director revealed David Cronenberg (The Fly, History of Violence) is a contender to helm the redux.

He doesn’t go much further into detail, but Vigalondo expresses he would love to see either Kurt Russell or Bruce Willis in the leading role of a man caught in a time travel conundrum and goes back in time a half hour to prevent a crime. For the part of the scientist helping this dude along in his quest, Vigalondo says he is partial to Adam Brody (Jennifer’s Body).

It’s unknown how serious the talks are between the remake’s producers and Cronenberg or how far along they are if such talks exist.

How sweet would that be if Adam got to work with not only David Cronenberg but also either Kurt Russell and Bruce Willis? As a fan of Bruce, I’d love to see Adam work with him one day.

Finally, we now have awesome images of Adam on the set of Jennifer’s Body! He’s looking great, as always, and the tattoo on his neck is something to wonder about! I have added the images to the gallery, hopefully more will surface, maybe some with Amanda and Megan perhaps? Hmm..

Thanks to Nese, Adam recently did an interview in 2008, and his father, Mark, also answers some questions near the end of the interview. Here’s a few interesting things from it, along with the link to the full interview. Shame about Big Japan though.

H: Do you still talk to any of your friends from high school?

AB: I do here and there, some from my actual high school and some from the beach. I grew up surfing so I became friends with a lot of the kids from the coast too. So I sort of had two social circles. I still keep in touch with a bit of both.

H: Are there any roles you’re dying to play in a movie or television series?

AB: Umm sure. The truth is you’re a slave to whatever the best thing is that comes your way. I mean, you can influence it to a certain extent but you’re still kind of at the mercy of whatever they’re making. I would like to do a movie like Marathon Man that Dustin Hoffman did in the 70s, not remake it but something along those lines, like a thriller. North By Northwest is another similar example. Something where you can be a guy but not a tough guy- you just run a lot, ha ha.

H: Rumor has it that that you will be starring as the comic book character, ‘The Flash.’ Any comment?

AB: It looks like I will. The larger question is will they make the movie. That’s what I’ll say about that.
