To tide us in over the next month for the long wait of The Ten DVD arriving to stores and whatnot, I found this hilarious outtake of Liev Schreiber giving his co-star a good slapfest for a total of 52 times! If this is what’s on the extras, I can’t wait to see what else will be on it, hopefully a few goodies of Adam of course. tongue

Good news for Sundance Film Festival moviegoers and Adam fans! Death In Love will be one of the many featured films to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. If you were around the site last year, then you should remember when Adam attended the Sundance Film Festival for both his movies, Smiley Face and The Ten (which both are coming soon on DVD in January, ironic much?). So let’s hope Adam attends Sundance! Here’s a little blurb about the movie from Variety.

“Death in Love,” directed and written by Boaz Yakin, centers on a 40-year-old bachelor with a complicated life who tries to sort out his personal relationships in the shadow of his mother’s concentration camp experience. With Josh Lucas, Jacqueline Bisset and Adam Brody.

If you are aware of Big Japan’s members and Adam’s old roommate from back in the day, then you will know who the super amazing Bret Harrison is. He currently stars in the CW’s show, Reaper, and has been in previous projects like The Loop and Grounded For Life, which Adam also had guest spots on. So, after searching for a fansite for Bret, I was unable to find any which resulted in creating one myself. So if you’re a fan of Bret’s, check out the link below and visit it some time!

This is somewhat related to Adam and the Flash auditions they had awhile back. It’s pretty interesting and if Scott Porter is telling the truth, perhaps Adam did score the role of Wally West for the Justice League movie!

The Continuum: So what can you say about these reports about you being cast as Superman in Justice League?
Porter: I haven’t been contacted. When I tested, I tested for the role of The Flash, which I lost to Adam Brody. At this point, Superman is purely rumor and speculation as far as I’m concerned, although I do want to buy a Superman shirt today and wear it to mess with people.

The Continuum: You auditioned for The Flash?
Porter: What happened with George Miller (Justice League’s director), there were about 32 of us, and he just said, “We’re having a test.” I don’t know if he had a specific role until we got there. None of us knew the specific role until we got there. The Flash was written next to my name when I was there, so that’s what I was under the assumption I was auditioning for, although they did say that it was kind of a blanket test. There was one scene and everybody did the same scene, so we could have been auditioning for any role.

The Continuum: If this was true, you’d probably hear by tomorrow?
Porter: If this is true, I’d probably be in Mexico tomorrow wondering how I got here. The extent of the options, everybody had to sign a test deal, a holding contract, and they have an exclusive option on a lot of us. And they’ve asked to extend them, so I’m expecting the actual official announcement to come out sometime this week, but you can’t really hold me to that because I’m not Warner Bros. Who knows when they’re going to make the announcement?

DC Comics fans have been on the edge of their seats for the last few days waiting for some official casting for the upcoming Justice League film, for now here is the Flash, the Green Lantern and Talia al Ghul.

A few months ago the IESB brought you the news that both Justin Long and Adam Brody had been brought in to read for the role of the Flash, a few days later the Trades confirmed our scoop.

Today I received a phone call from a source who has some pretty close ties to people involved in the production and gave us a tidbit, Wally West/The Flash will be played by Adam Brody.

Hopefully, and I do mean hopefully, if IESB is correct, then Adam will be playing Wally West aka The Flash in the Justice League movie. To read more about this article and the other names for the roles of the Green Lantern and Talia al Ghul, read it at iesb.net.
